Martin entered the law upon leaving sixth form in 1984 and qualified as a Legal Executive in 1988. He has worked in insolvency for over 20 years and joined the firm in 2007.
Martin specialises in contentious and non contentious personal insolvency work assisting licensed Insolvency Practitioners and individuals alike. Martin is particularly skilled in assisting individuals at risk or suffering the effects of bankruptcy.
Martin’s work includes: Securing and realising bankruptcy assets; obtaining voluntary contributions or income payment Orders; advising upon failed Individual Voluntary Arrangements; defending bankruptcy petitions ; advising on debt and its effective management through the use of Individual Voluntary Arrangements, Partnership Voluntary Arrangements and bankruptcy; the annulment, rescission or appeal of Bankruptcy Orders.
In addition Martin also undertakes general litigation and regularly appears before the Courts representing Insolvency Practitioners, Directors and clients of all sorts.
Away from the office…
Martin endures a love hate relationship with golf and in the summer months cycles in an attempt to redress the excesses of winter hibernation.
